CV
Sarah was born in Zurich during a late summer night marked by high waters in southern Switzerland. Her childhood, enriched by the rise of the internet, fostered her curiosity and restlessness. Sarah’s work reflects millennial traits—self-assured and tolerant, yet tinged with entitlement and narcissism. She often struggles to commit to a single medium, leading to ever-evolving works that can stand alone or merge into new compositions. The dynamics of post-digital life fuel her creativity as she navigates the fast-changing digital landscape. Her art spans analog and digital media, including painting, sculpture, and advanced fabrication techniques.
Sarah’s artistic journey began with a graphic design apprenticeship from 2002 to 2006. After a decade in advertising and events, she shifted her focus to the arts. She earned a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the Zurich University of Arts from 2013 to 2016, followed by a master's degree from 2019 to 2021. Her work, characterized by a blend of analog and digital media, continues to evolve, driven by the ever-changing currents of digital information.
